SAE receives U.S. patent for interactive 3D product configuration technology (U.S. Patent No. 10,762,719)
On September 1, 2020, the U.S. patent office in the state of Virginia awarded us a patent for our interactive 3D CPQ technology. We are very happy & it is a great acknowledgment for the entire team. The hard work has been rewarded.
The patented process empowers sales teams, distributors and even our customers’ customers – worldwide – to configure by themselves & interactively in 3D. The software is designed in a way that allows all to do’s to be done by our customers themselves within their teams. They use existing data such as configurations, CAD models, etc. and thereby keep the internal effort low. The solution works both on the web and offline and integrates seamlessly with subsystems such as ERP, CAD, etc. SAP LO-VC can also be connected to the 3D models with just a few clicks.
